U4GM Why the Strong Room Sigil Loop Is Best for Obsoite S12

Struggling for Obsoite in Diablo 4 Season 12? Run Nightmare Sigils with Horadrim Strong Rooms on Torment IV, grab Escalation drops, then down Asteroth to restock sigils and keep crafting.

Season 12 has a nasty habit of starving you right when your build finally starts to click. One minute you're dreaming about upgrades, the next you're staring at the crafter with no Obsoite and a pile of "almost" gear. I've tried the usual stuff—Whispers, Helltides, random dungeons—and it all feels like slow drip feeding. If you're already juggling Diablo 4 gold costs and rerolls, running out of this one material is just brutal, because it blocks everything you actually want to do.

Find the right sigil and don't lowball it

The loop starts with a Nightmare Dungeon Sigil that rolls the Horadrim Strong Room affix. That affix is the whole point, so don't settle for "close enough." If you spot the one tied to the Horror Strong Room Ax, treat it like a keeper. Then push it on Torment 4. Yeah, it can be sweaty if your defenses are shaky, but the payoff is why we're here. Clear the Strong Room, open the chests, and you're looking at roughly 800 Obsoite from that single finish. It's the kind of jump that makes the rest of the game's farming feel like pocket change.

Turn one strong room into a chain run

What makes this method feel good is that it doesn't die after one dungeon. After you clear the Horadrim Strong Room, you've got a strong chance to loot an Escalation Nightmare Sigil. Use it right away. Those escalation dungeons can stack multiple layers, and it's pretty common to see more Strong Rooms tucked inside the run. You're basically earning your next ticket while you're spending the current one. Keep your pace up, stay focused on the objective rooms, and don't get baited into full-clearing unless your build absolutely needs the XP.

Handle Bloody sigils and farm Asteroth smart

Eventually you'll hit Asteroth, and that's where the loop really pays rent. Kill him and, more often than not, he drops two fresh Nightmare Dungeon Sigils with the Horadrim affix. That's your refill. You'll also see "Bloody" versions pop up, and yeah, they're stingier with Obsoite. Still worth running, though. Early on I scrapped a few and instantly regretted it, because they can still kick out Escalation sigils that keep the chain alive. If your goal is steady crafting mats instead of a one-time spike, you run what you get and let the boss replenish your stash.

Keeping the loop going when RNG gets rude

If the sigil drops start to wobble, don't panic and abandon the pattern. Run the next Horadrim-affix sigil you've got, even if it's not the dream roll, and prioritize Strong Rooms over sightseeing. You'll usually bounce back after a boss or two. And if you're the type who'd rather spend time pushing content than shopping every vendor and praying for drops, it can help to use a service like U4GM for sourcing currency or items so your play sessions stay focused on actually clearing dungeons and upgrading gear.
