The new Crossbow in Black Ops 7 feels totally different from the usual meta, and once you get a few matches in, you start to see why some players are obsessed with it, especially if they've been warming up in CoD BO7 Bot Lobbies buy. Leveling Up And Learning Curve
If you're trying to level the Crossbow or chase camo challenges, Zombies is way less stressful than pure multiplayer. The Tri-Bolt's splash damage melts packs of zombies, so you can get used to bolt speed, arcs and reload rhythm without getting farmed by sweats. After a couple of rounds, the weapon timing starts to click; you stop panicking between shots and you learn when to reload and when to just swap to a secondary. Once you feel comfortable judging distance and travel time, that's when taking it into regular matches feels a lot more fun and a lot less like punishment.
Map Choice And Flex Factor
When you move back into PvP, smaller or mid-sized maps like Sparta or Watchtower suit the Crossbow really well because there's enough cover to close gaps without getting instantly deleted from across the map. You can bounce between headglitches, doorways and tight lanes, picking fights that happen on your terms instead of theirs. Some games you'll go negative, especially while you're still adjusting to how unforgiving the reload can be, but the payoff is huge.
